The horse pulls a wisp of straw from a bale with a barn behind it, and a hen with one chick pecks about at its hooves. Three animals on one sheet, and the good instinct is to let the horse be the quiet one: a plain coat, with the loud colours saved for the barn and the hen. The barn's planks run in long lines that go quickly, and leaving every third one a shade paler stops it becoming a red block. Five and up, fifteen minutes.
