A spotted cat stretches low with its front paws reaching forward and its tail curled high, its head down beside a ball of wool whose loose thread trails off to the left, while a bird watches from a leafy branch in the top right corner. It is the play bow every cat owner knows, the moment before a pounce, and one coat with the spots a shade deeper is all the planning it needs. The wool and the bird are the two small places for a contrasting colour. From five. A cat on its own, sitting still, is Cute Cat.
