A kitten in a pointed witch hat is perched on top of a big ribbed pumpkin with a smiling bat flying past on the left. Three shapes and a face, so this Halloween cat page is quick at four, and the warning worth giving first is the usual one: a cat filled in solid black loses its face, whiskers and all. Dark grey or deep purple keeps the eyes and nose readable and still reads as a Halloween cat. The pumpkin ribs go a shade deeper than the body. Another cat with a season on it is Cat at the Window.
