The monster comes forward grinning, a pumpkin-shaped cookie in one paw and a jack-o'-lantern bucket of sweets swinging from the other, a bat flapping past his head. His whole body is shaggy fur, drawn as hundreds of short strokes along the outline, and that edge is the difference between a good page and a flat one: colour right up to the fur and stop, rather than filling past it.
