Halloween Mummy and Monster Coloring Page
Two of the oldest Halloween costumes there are, standing side by side: a mummy wrapped in bandages from head to foot, and a flat-headed Frankenstein in a buttoned jacket with stitches across his forehead. Both are drawn round and smiling rather than scary, which is what makes them work at four. The bandages are the only repeated detail, a few dozen strips, and leaving every third one a shade darker does more for the page than any amount of careful shading. Works at four, ten minutes. The other classic monster here is Halloween Skeleton.
Coloring ideas for this page
- Cream bandages with every third strip a shade darker.
- A green face and a brown jacket, the colours the old films fixed.
