A big spotted cat stretches with its tail straight up and a kitten lies at its feet batting a ball of wool, while a bird watches from a leafy branch in the top right corner. The size difference is what the drawing is about, so the good instinct is to give both the same coat and let the scale tell the story rather than inventing two palettes. The spots are already drawn and go a shade deeper than the body. From five. A cat on its own, sitting still, is Cute Cat.
