Two round-cheeked ghosts float side by side with their arms spread, a child below them with both arms in the air, a plain pumpkin on each side, a crescent moon and oak leaves drifting past. Nobody is frightened in this drawing, which is exactly the point: it is the Halloween coloring page to give a five year old who is not sure about the whole business yet. The two ghosts stay white, so the color budget goes on the child's clothes and the pumpkins, and the moon can take a soft yellow. A good one for a classroom where twenty sheets go out at once.
