A puppy sits facing you in a pair of reindeer antlers, a bell on its collar and a wrapped present with a bow beside it. The antlers are the joke and the page knows it: they are drawn large and branching, so they take a brown of their own rather than borrowing the dog's. The rest is wide, which keeps it quick at four years old while the antlers still give an older child something to do. A Christmas dog page. The puppy under fairy lights is Christmas Puppy.
