Head thrown back and jaws open, Charizard sends a long plume of flame curling up over his shoulder while his wings stay spread behind him. The plume is drawn as nested tongues, which is an invitation rather than a chore: yellow at the core, orange around it, red at the outer edges, and the fire looks hot instead of painted. Keep the body one flat orange so the flame stays the loudest thing on the sheet. Six years and up, closer to twenty minutes than ten.
